Thank You!!!

I know that I haven't written much lately, but I been trying to stay out of the spotlight the last couple of months. I'm writting today to say Thank You to all the wonderful people, friends or not, that have been praying and sending well wishes for me and my family. We went to court earlier this week, and things went very well. The judge was great! He was very understanding and even a little taken back at the events that surrounded this whole situation. Things with the Divorce were finallized the day after we went to court!! Therefore all that is over and the boys and I can now move on, and start a new life!! I'm very glad and thankful that this is over and that I can now move on with my life, to start anew!!!!! So, from all of us, Thank You again for everything that all of you have done!!!

Memorial Day Weekend 2009

This past weekend was a long and funfilled one. First it was Logan's birthday. My Aunt was ablt to come home for along with her roommate. We all went to eat at Cock of the Walk Saturday night, Logan loves catfish and hushpuppies, mainly the hushpuppies. So, my Grandmother decided to tell our waiter that it was Logan birthday so he could get cake and they could sing to him. BAD IDEA!!!!! The poor thing was scared to death!!! All the waiters that came to sing came up from behind him, sat the cake on the table and started to sing with no warning, and loudly might I add!! They scared him so bad I think he cryed for 10 mins. So, of course he wouldn't blow out the candle, so Cody stepped in and help. Such a sweet big brother, most of the time.

Sunday, was Logan's actual birthday. We had the family over and had a huge cookout. Logan decided he would blow his own candles out this time. He got a new nap mat from Nana, and Papa. He loved it!! He even asked to sleep on it that night. Of course that didn't last very long.

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day!!!
On Saturday before Mother's Day, I took my mother and grandmother to eat lunch as part of their mother's day gift. Again this year Mom wanted to go to Biaggi's in Ridgeland. Great Food, and Great Family! What else can a Southern Girl ask for??

Oh, WOW, What a week it has been!! I still haven't heard anything from the Sherriff's Dept on the new discoveries. Maybe soon!! Well, It has been a long funfilled week of preparing for the boys shared birthday party. Cody is 6 and Logan will soon be 3. We had their party at Gatti Town. Everything was awesome!!

Playing Limbo! How Low can you go??? All the kids had the best time playing the different games. Limbo was the first, then they played Simon Says, then Musical Chairs.

Now it's Time for the Presents!!!!!!!!

They had the best time opening presents!! Of course they both got way more than they needed. But Hey, what is the point of a party without getting too many presents?

Now it's time to Play in the GameRoom!!!!!!

Thank you to all of our wonderful friends that come out the play and celebrate with us!!

A Little Update!

It has been a pretty good weekend. Some girlfriends and I attended a great concert at the fairgrounds this past Saturday, and had a great time. The weekend was looking as if it was going to end without any hitches. No such luck! Sunday night I made a discovery of some posted comments on Myspace. This new discovery of very upsetting to myself and everyone else who has read them. I have to take this information to the Sherriff's Dept tomorrow morning. I'm not sure as to what will happen as a result of these comments, but they could possibly change things drasticly! Please pray that whatever happens that it is for the best, and that God's will will shine through. Tomorrow may be a do or die kind of day!

A Good Day!

Wow, Today was actually a good day!! The boys played an awesome little T-ball game. They tied the score in the last inning, better than a loss, right? The worries that surrounded the game were much prayed over and it showed. There were no harsh words or looks, or anything else of the sort. Sometimes silence is the best option. Please continue to pray that things will continue to go smoothly between the two families. It very difficult to have visitation and birthday parties when there is so much tension floating around! My prayer is that God will give us all the peace and understanding to cope with and get through all of the hard days ahead!

A New Day

Today should be an interesting day to say the least. For those who know my story, this will make total sense! Tonight at approx 6 pm I will be in the presence of my soon to be ex-husband entire family, minus the soon to be ex. My 6yr son will be playing his baseball game against my nephews teams. Therefore the whole family will probably be present. Things started out pretty pleasant between the in-laws and myself after my discharge from the hospital and the serving of divorce papers. But soon after things began to sour! My brother in-law and his wife both began to be very short and ugly about everything and they started to turn the slightest little thing into a huge disagreement. I truely hate the way all of this has happened. Please pray that things go smoothly tonight at the ball fields. There is alot of tension between my family and his family right now, I just hope that everyone can be grown-up about the whole situation.
